This writing is meant to illuminate and strengthen a hidden division.
This forbes article in response to Nic Carter’s ‘maximalist exit’:
The author titles a section “ Bitcoin Maximalism is Scaling”. It’s quite ironic because I would suggest that Bitcoin Maximalism doesn’t scale.
And there are many that would suggest that Bitcoin doesn’t scale either, at least in its current form.
At this point it seems Bitcoin maximalism means “not willing to address Paul Sztorc’s Security Budget concerns” aka address any of bitcoin’s limitations.
But that this is (intentionally )hidden in the 4 part construct the above author presents.
And for this I would like to suggest that the bitcoin maximalist, described above, has lost the plot and doesn’t understand what bitcoin is.
